In person and online therapy for nevada residents

a warm space for your healing and growth

 FAQs

  • I do not currently accept insurance. My session fee is $75. I accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and Discover. I also accept HSA debit cards.

  • In our first session, we will explore your concerns and goals for therapy. I will ask questions to get to know you and your world. Together we will decide if I am the right therapist for you.

  • According to Dr. Elain Aron (2024), being highly sensitive is a trait (NOT a disorder) found in 20% of people and 100 animal species. HSPs tend to process things more deeply, get overstimulated more easily, have stronger emotions and empathy, and notice subtle details (Aron, 2024). Think an "empath" who cares deeply like Princess Diana or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Elizabeth carroll

Marriage and family therapist intern

I'm Elizabeth Carroll, a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Nevada. I earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago (2006), a Master’s in School Counseling from the University of Phoenix (2011), and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University (2024). I have worked with individuals (ages 6+), couples, and families as pre-licensed therapist since 2024. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 14 years working in education as a teacher and school counselor. My experience as an educator gave me a strong foundation in understanding emotional development, family systems, and building supportive partnerships. As an MFT intern, I’m dedicated to helping my clients with anxiety, relationships, trauma, life transitions, and depression. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where individuals can explore their emotions without fear of judgment. I’m particularly passionate about working with highly sensitive people (HSPs), understanding the unique challenges they face as an HSP myself. My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed, drawing from parts work (Parts and Memory Therapy-trained, IFS-informed), mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, ACT, CBT, and DBT skills to help clients reconnect with themselves, change negative patterns, and build emotional resilience. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and strive to create a safe, supportive space where meaningful change can happen.
